A strategic goal of Nigeria LNG (NLNG), who operate the Bonny
Island liquefied natural gas plant, is to shift from direct purchases
from overseas manufacturers and service providers to ordering from or
through locally based Nigerian manufacturers and service provides. This
is for all product groups and work categories and is also in line with
the Nigerian Governments goal of maximizing Nigerian content for all
companies concerned in oil & gas exploration and production.
With this goal in mind, community leaders in the Niger Delta
region invited NCOE Limited (UK) to join them in forming a company that
will meet NLNG’s aims across all sectors that include, but are not
limited to, project support and management, detailed design &
engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
This company name is abbreviated to NCOE (Nigeria) Limited,
and will offer project support by providing service to NLNG and other
oil & gas companies operating in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A
particular aim of NCOE (Nigeria) Limited is to improve the local economy
by creating jobs and business for the local and regional communities.
NCOE (Nigeria) Limited is a company registered with Nigeria’s
Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and whose Articles of Association are
in accordance with Table ‘A’ in Schedule 1 of Nigeria’s
Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990.
NCOE (Nigeria) Limited operates in accordance with corporate
governance principles, especially those regarding Nigeria and the global
oil and gas industry, as determined by the policies, laws, regulations
and standards in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
NLNG require a service provider to demonstrate value-added
qualities. To this end, NCOE (Nigeria) Limited will provide high quality
goods and services by demonstrating the following:
